Develops/integrates cybersecurity designs for systems and networks with multilevel security requirements or requirements for the processing of multiple types of data and informaton; documents and addresses information security, cybersecurity architecture, and systems security engineering requirements; employs secure configuration management processes; ensures acquired or developed system(s) and architecture(s) are consistent with COH cybersecurity architecture guidelines; performs security reviews, identifes gaps in security architecture, and develops security risk management plans; provides input on security requirements to be included in statements of work and other appropriate procurement documents; defines and documents how the implementation of a new system or new interfaces between systems impacts the security posture of the current environment; analyze candidate architectures, allocate security services, and select security mechanisms; evaluates security architectures and designs to determine the adequacy of security design and architecture proposed or provided in response to requirements contained in acquisition documents; writes detailed functional specifications that document the architecture development process; analyzes user needs and requirements to plan architecture; determines the protection needs (i.e., security controls) for the information system(s) and network(s) and documents appropriately.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Information or Information Technology, Cybersecurity or Information Assurance or equivalent work experience of 5 or more years.
Certifications: GIAC Defensible Security Architecture (GDSA), CISSP-ISSEP Information Systems Security Engineering
